My parents, Carmen and Janet DiGiusto, began their journey in the restaurant business as young
entrepreneurs in California where they founded Carmen’s Italian Villa, and later, a smaller version of the same restaurant which they named
Little Carmen’s.

Family ties eventually brought them back to the South Shore where they opened the first Mexican
restaurants in Massachusetts, Carmen’s Mexican and American Restaurants in Abington and Weymouth.

I was born and raised in the business, starting out by washing dishes at an early age and working my way up to running the family restaurants. I was finally able to make my own dreams a reality when I opened Carmen’s Café Nicole on the Historic
Plymouth Waterfront.

After 15 successful years I decided it was time for a change and found the perfect spot for my new venture in Norwell. It is here that I am happy to open my own “Little Carmen’s”. This cafe reflects my own spin on Modern American Casual with a Mexican Flare. My goal is to compliment the area with a family friendly breakfast and lunch establishment. We look forward to making your family part of our family.
